Nars Danmari Palette - Best Packaging

Burberry Mocha Palette - Best Colour Payoff

Urban Decay Naked Basics - Best for Travel

Urban Decay Naked Palette - Most Versatile and Most used, most loved, desert island

Inglot Palette - Biggest Regret, Least Used

Stila In the Light Palette - Best Colour Names

MAC Pink Power Palette - Least Used

I was tagged by ZoĆ« to do the Perfect Palette Tag that has been doing the rounds on Youtube and beauty blogs recently. I don't actually have that many palettes and the only other one that I have that isn't featured in this post is a MAC palette which currently only holds one eyeshadow.

1. Best Packaging: Nars Danmari Palette
I know that a lot of people hate the rubberised Nars packaging but I think it is very sleek and I also like that this palette has a large mirror.

2. Best Colour Payoff: Burberry Mocha Palette
This is a new addition to my eyeshadow palette stash but easily contains the best quality eyeshadows and I believe it is worth the money.

3. Most Versatile: Urban Decay Naked Palette
I don't wear coloured eyeshadow so versatile for me is being able to create light daytime looks, bronze smoky eyes, gold smokey eyes and grey smoky eyes so the Urban Decay Naked Palette works perfectly for me.

4. Best for Travel: Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette
This palette is very small but still contains enough eyeshadows to have some variety which makes it perfect for travel.

5. Biggest Regret: Inglot Palette
As I mentioned above I don't wear coloured eyeshadow so I have no idea what I was thinking when I ordered this!

6. Best Colour Names: Stila In the Light Palette
I had no idea which palette to put for this category and then it occurred to me that I didn't even know the names of the shades in this palette. When I looked them up I realised that they were really well named, every name perfectly suits the colour.

7. Least Used: MAC Pink Power Palette
I don't even know if this counts as a palette but it is my least used if it does (otherwise it would be my Inglot palette for the reasons above). The packaging means that I can't store it with my other makeup which means that I forget about it.

8. Most Used, Most Loved, Desert Island : Urban Decay Naked Palette
For all the reasons above and I really like the formula of the eyeshadows and the packaging of this palette.

  1. The Burberry Mocha palette looks gorgeous! I'm so tempted by Naked Basics but I feel like I already have very similar shades in my collection x x

  2. The Naked Basics palette is definitely one of the best for travelling. It's also a great addition for people who don't have many matte shades yet. This is typically all you'll need!

  4. I love the way NARS packaging looks, but I hate the rubber, it gets so, so dirty! I love the INGLOT colours you have in your palette and that Burberry palette looks gorgeous!
